Cedaredge, Colorado is a scenic town located above the Surface Creek Valley on the sunny side of the Grand Mesa. With a wonderful climate, small town friendliness, and surrounded by unlimited recreational opportunities, this valley is home to more than 8000 people. The Grand Mesa Nordic Council (GMNC) Nordic ski areas are located on Colorado Highway 65 (Scenic Byway), 45 miles from Grand Junction via I-70/CO Highway 65, and
35 miles from Delta via Highways 92 and 65 through Cedaredge. GMNC grooms ski trails at three locations on Grand Mesa: Skyway, County Line and Ward. The Council is a community-based nonprofit organization of people who love to participate in Nordic sports on Grand Mesa. They are dedicated to promoting fun, safe, diverse cross-country skiing experiences on the Grand Mesa for skiers of all ages, abilities, and interests.
