​Funny how you wake up one day and discover that you’ve found your place. Accidentally . . . almost.
Starting in the middle of the story – Tate Locke is a general contractor and in 2003, Tate and his wife, Julie came to Cedaredge from Jackson Hole, Wyoming so Tate could help his dad, Bill Locke build a house for himself and Tate’s mom, Karen. Tate and Julie had no intention of staying more than 6 months but they soon discovered that Cedaredge had everything they loved—the skiing, rafting, hiking and mountain living. AND it was affordable.
